9th and 9th is referred to as one of Salt Lake’s “best kept secrets”. It is a small retail and residential neighborhood in Salt Lake located 9 blocks east of the center of Downtown. Often described as earthy or funky. There are no strip malls in this neighborhood. The streets are lined with old brick bungalows and Victorian homes. There are many unique merchants who resign in here which makes it a very popular area to live or just take a stroll. The collection of shops are one of a kind. The area gets its name from the intersection of 900 South and 900 East .
